The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (TV Series 2. I have followed every city's version of the Real Housewives franchise and believe this is the most intriguing and addicting of the franchise thus far. While the initial season of Orange County's opening credits featured an opening gate and a theme song reminiscent of that of . The Beverly Hills series takes viewers behind the lives of some of the most awesomely wealthy households in America. The extravagances of daily living in Beverly HIlls are incomprehensible to most Americans outside of the 9. While all of the Housewives series' have showcased those with extraordinary lifestyles, the extravagance of the Beverly HIlls lifestyle is like F. Scott Fitzgerald's Jay Gatsby to the nth power. Along with the fabulousness of the Beverly HIlls ueberlife is the ueber- drama that accompanies it. Viewers will also find themselves intrigued to see the social foibles of the Hills' women and how they play out over the course of the season, culminating in an explosive finale that involves drama with family members, close friends, and mere acquaintances. At times it is difficult to remember that this portrays the real lives of real people, as the show does such a skillful job of removing the viewer from everyday reality with its portrayals. Each installment of Beverly Hills promises to keep viewers on their toes and attuned to the nuances of every character's mannerisms, conversations and body language, and eagerly anticipating the next week's episode. Is your interest piqued yet? As we whisk ourselves over the browned hills and the seedy valleys of Southern California for yet another year in the lives of the richest and (perhaps) classiest of. Guys, I hate to jinx it, but after tonight’s episode, I’m starting to think Beverly Hills might be back. We had a trip without any notes of the hellishness that was Dubai and even experienced — fingers crossed — a juicy new feud I can actually get behind. So, let’s get into it, shall we? Rinna and her daughter, Amelia, are heading to New York to visit Delilah Belle, Teen Vogue model extraordinaire (who sometimes looks oddly like Miley Cyrus in her Instagram pics. Rinna and Delilah take a meeting at CR Fashion. Book, where Rinna proceeds to embarrass her 1. Harry Hamlin to think their daughter’s head was deformed. You know, just typical conversation for a first meeting. During the meeting, Delilah Belle sees supermodel Gigi Hadid on the cover of CR and says she wants to be like Gigi, but Rinna knows she screwed that one up big- time. The days of model- mom to model- mom talks are over. Meanwhile, who the hell knows where Amelia is during all of this. The timing obviously had nothing to do with Bravo camera crews — she and Sophia flew to the city to work on her latest Kyle by Alene Too boutique, which is currently a raw space on the Upper East Side. After Kyle’s work is done, the mother- daughter duo takes selfies on the High Line, prance about in crop tops, and get scared of branches touching their legs (okay, the last two really only apply to Sophia). Kyle, Rinna, and their schmodel- y offspring meet for happy hour at a rooftop bar in Times Square, where Delilah admits she’s on a dating app her parents are paying for, though whether said app is $2. The one thing that’s not a guess, though, is 1. Delilah is talking to 3. Rinna is not feeling it. Back in Beverly Hills, LVP and Dorit shop for Ken’s birthday present and decide to forego a $9. Unfunny and awkward rubber jokes ensue, and although the watch may be a step down from last year’s birthday ponies, Ken seems to love it. LVP and Ken share a delicious- looking red wine- berry cocktail — anyone have an in with Rocio for the recipe? There’s daughter Phoenix, who wears a helmet because her skull was flattened during her sleep — Dorit obviously can’t wait until Phoenix no longer needs it. Eileen is understandably devastated and having a really hard time coping with the loss, so she heads to therapy. And as we all know, the most effective therapy is done in front of the camera. Eileen is “embarrassed” by how many of her family members have died in such a short amount of time and realizes she feels shame when making others uncomfortable. But as her therapist reminds her, she is a soul having a human experience. While this episode is, sadly, without any Mauricio cameos, we do have the treat of hearing his sweet voice over the phone while Kyle gets ready for a white party at Pump. Once at Pump, she realizes she made the rookie mistake of pairing a see- through white jumpsuit with white underwear, but no one can help her out — least of all Erika, who decided not to wear any underwear at all. Who cares! Dorit is not feeling Erika’s commando- ness, nor is PK, who later admits he felt “hot” out of “embarrassment” for Erika, since he saw everything while seated across from her at the party. He claims he wasn’t remotely turned on but didn’t mind the view. Can’t say that adds up. But it wasn’t just Erika’s “hoo- ha” that caused tension with Dorit. The two also get into it about Dorit’s accent, and I honestly can’t believe it’s taken us this long to get here. It all starts with LVP’s new shtick in which she constantly refers to her British humor, which none of you silly Americans will ever understand. Dorit, being the faux- Brit- slash- every- background- under- the- sun she is, totally agrees with LVP. Leave it to Erika to say what everyone else is thinking — boom. What did you think of tonight’s episode? Are you getting amped for a brewing Erika- Dorit feud, too? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Season 7 on i. Tunes. Description.
